Road trip to Branson

 Cecilia wrote a lot of the details below about our trip.

Iowa - first, we drove 4 hours in the car. The kids were very entertained from watching their iPads the whole time. We ate Culvers for dinner and since everyone ate all their dinner they were so full and did not say any snacks the whole entire drive. We arrived at our hotel and it was around 9:30 but we did not get everything out of the car because we were driving to Missouri the next day. So we went to bed at 10:15 and Cecilia and Maeve woke up at 6:35 then had breakfast at the hotel and left. We went to Starbucks because Mom didn't like the coffee at our hotel and the kids all got a drink too. Cecilia got Mango dragon fruit and Kyle and Maeve got strawberry açaí and my Dad didn't get anything. 

Then a couple hours later we stopped and got out to take a picture for the map at a covered bridge. We then saw three deer as we drove away and then another 3 for a total of 6 deer. Then we stopped at an amish country store and Kyle got his souvenir which was a magnet that said Iowa and Dad got a puzzle. 

In Kansas we went to eat BBQ at Joe's Kansas City BBQ then we went to a farm where we saw bobcats, eagles, calf, owl, sheep, chickens, peacocks, turkey, bunny, horses, longhorns, bison, vultures, turtles, fish and prairie dogs. Maeve and Kyle fed the goats and Cecilia saw one girl bend down and the goat started eating her har. Then we went to the gas station and we bought a lot of things at Buccees like beaver nuggets and beef jerky. Then we went to Dominoes and got pizza and got the our hotel in Branson where we ate the pizza. We went to bed and when we woke up we went to the pool and played in the game room. That day we went to Silver Dollar City which is an amusement park where we rode swings, roller coasters, flooded mine, parachutes, ship, etc and we waited 1 hr and 5 min for Kyle's burger. 

A couple hours later we went to see The Haywood's and it was the best things ever. When we got back to our hotel and went to bed. When we woke up we went to Cosmic Caverns in Arkansas. then we went to lunch and after that went fishing and in total we caught 11 fish. We also saw a mink and a blue heron.

Then we got back in the car and hotel and we went to the game room while Dad was beer tasting and Maeve got root beer. Then we went to dinner in Branson at Guy Fieri's restaurant and saw the fountain show and went to the arcade.

The next morning we heard some sad news that Aunt Terry had died from cancer. While Dad was talking to his family, Mom took us to the pool. After that we went to Hook and Ladder for lunch and then to the Top of the rock. There was a three hour wait for golf carts so we just took the shuttle and we still saw pretty news. Then we went to the outlet mall and afterwards went to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede. In the show they had lots of animals which included horses, bison, chickens, pigs, longhorns and we also ate dinner. There were two teams competing in races - the North and the South - and we were on the South side and we won. Then we drove back to the hotel and went to bed. The next morning we drove 10 hours in the car to get home.
