Maeve and Cecilia had an amazing summer. Field trips everyday with the school camp and enjoyed spending time with the friends and counselors.
Maeve also enjoyed a few days at Horse Camp at the Equestrian Center with her horse Calvin and Minnesota Zoo Camp. Cecilia and I visited one day to pick her up.
They ended their last week of summer at Lifetime - swimming and playing kickball and carnival games.
We finally finished our updates to our living and family room. Our original need was to fit the new piano in the living room. That, of course, led to new furniture for the living room as well as the family room.

I had a great time going back to New Orleans for my high school reunion in August. I saw most of my friends (unfortunately Jessica was sick) but we had a great time at the reunion. I also got to meet Remi and Charlotte and see some of the other kiddos. It was a quick 48 hours but we packed a lot in!
We had a great time visiting the Kirchner cabin this summer. We had fun with the usual games, ski trainer, tubing, and ice cream and good food. Some additional highlights from this year were seeing a glimpse of the Northern lights, seeing a loon up close, happy hours on the boat, having Grandma Brigid and Grandpa Ed come for Kate's birthday weekend, and going to Phelp's mill. Maeve also attempted to get up on real waterskis.
