Maeve had a great check-up today. No shots so she was happy about that!
Height: 43.7 inches (75%)
Weight: 40 lbs (56%)
Her vision and hearing checked out great too.
When the doctor asked her what activities she liked to do such as gymnastics and swimming, she said "Watch Barbie!" Oh dear..... but then she also said play games and legos.... phew....
We love our strong, healthy 5 year old!

Maeve's 5th Birthday Party
This weekend we celebrated Maeve's 5th birthday. We are so thankful to have had many family members come to her birthday party at Park Tavern. She enjoyed bowling, visiting with family, and pies from Baker's Square. Thank you to everyone who came to make her birthday so special. She said she really enjoyed bowling but didn't want everyone to sing her 'Happy Birthday.' She still doesn't like people singing to her. She claims a kid laughed at her 2 years ago at school when they sang Happy Birthday. Not sure it that's what traumatized her or not but she definitely doesn't like when people sing it to her! Her sister, on the other hand, loves to sing 'Happy Birthday' and sang it most of the weekend. We can't believe we are celebrating 5 years!!

Walt Disney World 2018
We had a busy but fun trip to Disney World. Here's a look at the professional photos and a link for more pictures. I've labeled the characters below in case you don't know who they are. Since we have two girls, it's easy to figure out all the princesses but there are a lot of new ones since we were little.
Of course the highlights were Elsa and Anna at Epcot. Cecilia was shy around all of the characters. The only one where we didn't have to hold her was the picture with Elsa! We also enjoyed Cinderella's table where we had breakfast in the castle and saw all of the princesses.
Cecilia said her favorite princess was Aurora because she's pink and Maeve liked Tinkerbell. Eric and I enjoyed the dinner at Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian where we stayed. Maeve tried mussels there and loved them! She's even asked for them again since we've been home.
Thanks to Grandma Jan and Grandpa Steve for a wonderful trip. The girls enjoy looking back at the pictures every day. Favorite things include: dancing with Vampirina at the Halloween party, riding 'It's a Small World' and the Belle experience.

And here are some pictures from Maeve's camera. She was so excited to take some pictures and we enjoyed watching her get excited about different things to take pictures of!
Here's a typical character dinner where you all jump up to get their autograph and picture - very distracting for eating but a good way to see all of the characters in the park!
